Database Conversion

With the release of version 7 (ACT! 2005) Sage changed the database format for ACT!. Previous database versions are not compatible with the new format. To preserve your valuable data and to be able to move on to the new ACT! with all its exciting features we'll convert your old database into the new format professionally.

Before converting the database we analyse it as out-lined above. This investigation of your database clarifies whether your database can be converted without problems or whether issues arise. If the latter applies we'll contact you with repair and cost details.

Country Code and Phone Number Fixing

Under certain circumstances ACT! does not recognize phone numbers correctly. Instead, it assigns them to a wrong country. For instance, a German phone number is erroneously added the U.S. country code. Consequently, all tasks in ACT! based on correct country codes – such as the automatic dialer and extensions like Handheld Contact, ActConnect, DialIT and CompanionLink – won’t work.

Our service is specialized to correct such wrong phone numbers in your database. This is achieved by changing the format. In addition, the phone number, the web and e-mail address are being employed to identify the correct country code and to assign the phone number properly. This adjustment will be executed for all ACT! customer’s phone fields in the database.
