Automation of contact data acquisition. SCANIT generates a new ACT! contact based on a scanned business card directly and supports your CRM-workflow.

• Simplification: The ACT! contact is created automatically after a simple scan of the business card.
• Lead management: New tables can be created in ACT! and transferred with SCANIT lead management – this way you can collect the necessary information regarding new contacts directly
• Activity: The creation of history records and the scheduling of other activities for a contact can already be done during the scanning process
• Data integrity: A duplicate check is performed before the new contact is saved. Therefore, even existing contact information is updated when new data or images are added
• Visualization: SCANIT offers graphical support and allows you to transfer the front and the back side of business cards in ACT! (black and white, color)
• Validation: Scanned address data is verified. Similarly, the telephone-, fax- and cellphone numbers are analyzed and the data is transferred in ACT! in the TAPI-compliant format with the appropriate country codes. SCANIT also checks whether the domain really exists and informs the user if this is not the case so that appropriate adjustments can be done.
• Categorization: New groups can be created and contacts can be linked with the respective group
• Intelligent Data Supplementation: E-mail- or domain record - if only a domain but no e-mail address exists, an info domain will be created. In case there is only the e-mail address, SCANIT will create a corresponding domain entry
• Flexibility: Through the use of a web interface, contact data can be collected wherever you are. You are able to transfer the data directly into your database while you are attending a trade show via CardScan
• Standardization: The definition of default values for activities, histories, groups and creator saves additional time during data acquisition
• Independence: The screen-capture function enables the acquisition of electronic business cards like webpage contacts and e-mail signatures
• Information: SCANIT can directly send e-mails to a contact. The e-mail- and appendix templates can be created with an integrated report designer to e.g. send an invitation for a scheduled activity
